"And if Christina hates the rabbit, she can tell me to my face." I reply simply, still playful but with a note of seriousness. Personally, I think Tris is right: there's clearly a unique quality that small animals have to endear themselves to people. Plus she had a pet of her own back in Candor.
I'm pretty certain, with no small measure of bias, that rabbits are superior to dogs...well, except maybe that dog Allison has. Looks like a fussy piece of window dressing, but runs and barks like a hunter. I can respect that.
